Control, exactly as you intend it.
The LUXX Control Air is Selkirk's premium line. A thicker 19mm core, paired with a balance that is easy to handle. You can sit the ball on the face and place it — the player-friendly feel this line is known for. If you want sharper dinks and resets, or you like to build points around control, this is the one — and the Invikta (Elongated) shape offered here gives you the reach to take away the front of the court.
Spin that keeps going | InfiniGrit
Raw carbon faces make spin a weapon, but they have always had one weakness: the surface wears down with use and the spin drops off. LUXX solves that with InfiniGrit, a texture applied over Florek carbon. Per the manufacturer, the texture lasts about three times longer than raw carbon, and the paddle can generate up to roughly 2,000 RPM. That means you can keep breaking opponents down with spin for far longer.

Inside the LUXX Control Air
The face is Florek Carbon Fiber finished with InfiniGrit. The core is 19mm of X7 Thikset honeycomb (plus a FlexFoam perimeter), so the ball stays on the face and is easy to control. The Air Dynamic Throat cuts air resistance for a lighter swing-through, and the Aero-DuraEdge edgeless construction keeps the effective hitting area wide all the way to the frame. A Selkirk Geo Grip comes fitted.
